This year was my first chance to attend WPPI.  I’ll write a separate blog post on my experience soon.  While there, several of my  friends and I got the itch to want to shoot in the desert.  We contacted a few couples but due to the hectic nature of everyone’s schedule during WPPI, we could not make it work.  During the final keynote talk by Sue Bryce– which was ah-maze-ing!! (More on that later) one of my photography mentors mentioned that she modeled for a shoot last year. Light bulb moment!!!  I asked her if she would be willing to model for us since none of the couples that we wanted to shoot were able to work with our schedules.  She agreed and the planning began.  We literally had the shoot planned in a matter of an hour and the very next day everyone did their part to bring it to life!
