Goals help us realize our progression in life and I think they are so very important in this industry. Photographers come a dime a dozen, but great photographers don’t! To measure my improvement with this business, I compare what I’ve done to what I’m doing! Yep, I only compare myself to myself and try and get better. Well, to say that I am happy that I have achieved a goal of being featured on a Wedding Blog is an understatement. When I saw the email that my photos have been selected to be published online, I wasn’t sure whether I should scream or cry. I’ve done a little…okay, a lot of both! Finally, I feel like I’m doing something right. I receive compliments on my work but when another industry professional recognizes my effort it carries a special feeling.
