More and more brides that are thrilled to have amazing photos without the rush on their wedding day are opting to do a first look. A first look is an opportunity for the bride and groom to see each other in a private setting before the ceremony. For some, it’s unheard of but for the couples that did it, they felt just as much emotion during the walk down the aisle that they did during the first look. I always ask my brides if this is something they would like to do. If for some reason they decide this is not what they want for their day, I present a second option. An optional first look! It’s the same idea as a first look but instead of the groom waiting for his bride to appear, it’s her father or the person that will walk her down the aisle! Daddy’s little girl being given away can be just as emotional and this optional first look has just as many memories!
