I’ve only known Henry and Olivia for a couple of months.  We actually first met at our initial consultation at a Starbucks in Tyson’s Corner Mall.  By the way, who knew there were three Starbucks at that Mall?!?  I was waiting at one while they were waiting at another! LOL.  We ultimately made it to the same shop, chatted about their wedding day and how they met!  I even saw photos from the surprise proposal that nearly brought me to tears!  Henry and Olivia are childhood sweethearts and to prepare to pop the question, Henry arranged a trip to Philadelphia, so that he could propose by the Amor sign near the Rocky steps (the theme song literally just popped into my head), but what Olivia didn’t know was that he was going to propose and he was going to do it in front of her family!  Her family made the trip up from Virginia as well and despite the plans almost falling apart when Henry spotted family members before it was time, they didn’t and it was amazing.

I walk away from many consultations with the thought “I hope they book me” and this was the same but so different.  Through our conversation I felt their love for each other and for God and I connected with them!  In our short time of knowing each other, they have prayed for the direction of my business and have given me the most encouraging an uplifting words as if they’ve been on this entire journey with me!  I love bonding with my clients and I am always a little sad once the wedding day is over, so it’s amazing when I remain in contact with my couples through the years and as their families grow.  I have no doubt in my mind that Henry and Olivia will fall into this category!!

I am excited to shoot their 2017 wedding at Morais Vineyards and I know it will be a celebration of love, commitment to one another and a great time with their families.
