When two souls are meant to collide, they usually will.  They grew up in different parts of Ohio, but an introduction from a friend allowed them to meet while living in D.C.  They started as friends but it wasn’t long before Victoria began to think, I’m really digging this guy!  Victoria works for the government and Brian was in the Army.  His tours landed him overseas a few times and in the Midwest while he served our Country.  They spent a great deal of their time flying back and forth to see one another until Brian was able to get back to D.C.

One of their favorite past times is attending Washington Wizards games.  Christmas came and went and what Victoria thought was an engagement ring as her gift was actually a Pandora bracelet.  She liked the bracelet but her heart was set on something with more bling! She opened gift after gift and there was no ring.  Meanwhile, Brian laughed on the inside as Victoria tried to hide her frustration.  Three nights later they attended a Wizards game and unknowingly Victoria ruined Brian’s first attempt at a proposal when she decided to leave their seats to get food! Slightly nervous with anticipation, Brian made his way out to the hallway and quickly told one of the stadium workers what he was about to do. He stopped Victoria and got down on one knee and asked the BIG question!  Of course “She said yes!” and started crying because she was caught totally off guard.  Brian’s plan worked! She happily showed the cell phone footage of the proposal as we were headed to our first location.

Victoria and Brian’s wedding theme is “Our Love Travels the Distance” and for their engagement session she decided to incorporate travel and distance.  I’ve shared a few of my favorite photos below.  Victoria and Brian it was an absolute pleasure hanging with you guys and documenting a piece of your love story!
