I love to hear the story of how two souls collided and fell in love! I traveled to California recently to attend United.  United is a photographers conference that was held in Santa Barbara.  I’ll share more details from the conference in a few days.  While in California, I decided to spend some time in Los Angeles, since I used to live there I was excited to see some old friends and visit the area where I used to live (Sherman Oaks) to see how much had changed.  Also, while I was there I reconnected with my friend and sorority sister Kathryn and I met her husband, Chris.  Kathryn and I were in the same acting class when I lived in Los Angeles and her talent for performing far exceeds her beauty.  You may recognize her from numerous films, tv shows (such as The Game) or stage plays and I expect that if you haven’t yet, you will see much more of her very soon.  Chris is a Los Angeles based private practice litigation attorney and is well-respected and known in the courtroom for some high profile cases. We decided to travel to the top of Kenneth Hahn Park for our session because of the park’s scenic nature and to try and get a few shots of downtown Los Angeles in the background. It was a little overcast and the smog was as present as I used to remember but we enjoyed our time there!

Their story begins with what happened to be a job interview for Kathryn and a some down time for Chris led to these two souls connecting at an area night club.  Chris made a friendly gesture and asked for a date and Kathryn agreed.  From there their love blossomed.  A vacation to Miami led to an engagement and they were married in Laguna Beach, CA in August 2010.  Kathryn and Chris, thank you for our time together and best wishes on a long and happy marriage!
