You may remember Jerrod and Tinita from their botanical engagement session last year.  Well, they’re back!!!!  I love to encourage couples to make their engagement sessions their own, so I  try not to lead with my ideas on what they should do or where they should go.  Instead, I take their location ideas and themes and try and make fun and romantic imagery with the setting that I’m given.

Jerrod and Tinita both attended Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), so they wanted to pay homage to their alma maters.  Jerrod attended North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride) and Tinita attended Howard University.  I’m not sure what they say at Howard because clearly I attended NC A&T!!! I adore this couple so much because they are down to earth despite the numerous degrees between the two of them.  Jerrod is working on his second Master’s Degree and Tinita has her Ph.D!  Above their degrees is their love of God and the reason why they are preparing to say “I do”.  I am excited for their wedding in a few short months in Maryland.
