Sometimes two people just belong together and that’s my exact sentiment after spending an afternoon with Jerrod and Tinita.  They are planning their 2015 wedding and Tinita took great interest in the details of their engagement session.  She brought ideas and props and we had an awesome time!

I love hearing the stories of how a couple met and this one was just as intriguing as some of the others.  Jerrod and Tinita attend the same church and have been pretty active with their church group.  After some time of being in each others’ presence, Tinita began to notice Jerrod in a different way.  A friendly gesture led to what will now be a celebration of love net year!  When I asked about their first date they couldn’t really remember because they have been out in so many group settings that the first date didn’t seem like an actual first date.

I love how interested they were in each other, each ensuring the other was camera ready and each offering up ideas of how they wanted me to document their love story!  I love when my couples take an active interest in their engagement session because it shows that they’ve given it some thought and that makes me believe the photos become much more special to them!  Here are a few of my favorites from their session:
