This post was prompted by a conversation I had with someone recently.  It went something like this. “Terri I have been watching your work for some time and we (my family) need you to take our photos one day.” My response was “Awww thank you!!! So, I am primarily a wedding photographer and because I don’t always have additional free time after focusing on my couples and their love story, my time for family photos is limited, but I would love to get you and (your hubby) in front of my camera for an Anniversary Session.” I then went on to explain why I do these sessions taken directly from the “Why I Became a Photographer” section on my website. “Let’s face it, we grow, we age, and we change. It’s inevitable, right?  However, when you look at a photo that I’ve taken, I want it to be a timeless reminder of how you looked and felt at that specific time in your life.” I went on to mention how often my friends talk about how much their lives change once the kids come because all of their attention is naturally given to them.
