With the rise in Shoot and Share photographers, most clients are really interested in getting the high-resolution images from their wedding day included in their collection. I fall into the Shoot and Share category because I include high-resolution images with my wedding collections. When researching your wedding photographer, determine what you want as your end product and make sure they have a package that fits your needs within your budget. The opposite of a Shoot and Share photographer is a Shoot and Sell photographer. Different approaches work for different photographers so there is no right or wrong way to run a business.
In the past I noticed that my clients wanted their high-resolution images over any other wedding day keepsake. At one point in time I was okay with that until I noticed clients were going to subpar printing companies for their prints and wedding albums so I decided to do something about it. I have now built in a standard album into my wedding collection so that the bride and groom have a quality album of their more important photos on their first day as husband and wife!
Below are photos of one of my albums. My custom heirloom album comes with 20-pages, a top grain leather cover, debossed information on the cover and side and lay flat pages. They are more beautiful in person and I love showing these off during client consultations.
