This is such an exciting time for you! I’m so excited that you found me during your search for your wedding photographer!
Because I believe that getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an amazing experience, I’d love to share my mission for each and every wedding I photograph.
My goal is to capture that authentic love and emotion between you and your partner in a way that if someone misses your big day, they would feel the energy through your photos! What I love most about weddings is the look on my couple's faces when they see each other for the first time. Sometimes I photograph tears and other times I photograph the nervous laughter, but either way it goes, I am here to document it all!

One way I ensure that my couples enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible, is through forming a relationship meet by meeting with them either by phone or via Zoom. I want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how y’all got engaged.
We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with us and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.

Even if you're working with a wedding planner or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. I've photographed more than 100 weddings in the past few years, so I'm happy to share everything I've learned along the way!

I'm a fan of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you.
Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. I’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. I normally plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, spring flowers for example, or based on schedules.

I will check-in about one month before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else I should know to best plan for your big day.
Completing your Pre-Wedding Questionnaire that I send will be helpful for me to fully execute your vision. However, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions during the planning process!

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about eight weeks of your wedding. At that time, I'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.
My hope is that the relationship doesn't end after I deliver your photographs. I want to hear about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids, I'd love to document your growing family.

the ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you (and even include pets!) While they’re great for save-the-dates, we’ve taken engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding from locally in the DMV to around the US.

The architecture and art in museums can be a beautiful complement to a couple's visual love story.

There are a vast number of locations in and around the Washington, DC area that are perfect for engagement sessions. Couples have the city streets, Cherry Blossoms, parks and gardens and historic properties as a few options to choose from.

If you want a more intimate engagement session, consider using a private residence in any location for your engagement session.

New York City has become one of my favorite city locations outside of the DC area to take photos. Locations that are important to you are just as important to me!

If you have a favorite memory as a couple, such as a first date location or where you like to spend time on the weekends, we can absolutely incorporate this into your session.
If your favorite location includes a warm beach or tropical destination, let's go! Just about any location can be a great option with the right planning!

The best engagement session locations are often meaningful to my individual couples; however, I'm also happy to make recommendations for fun, romantic or unique places. From museums to monuments to private locations and bustling cities, the options for session locations are endless!

I'm a big believer that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone, your phone will be replaced and images that you can physically hold in your hand will be the best way to remember those precious moments I've captured.
Think about this fact: ten years ago, if I had delivered you digital images, they would have been on a thumb drive. With the fast updates to technology, you would have no way to access those images today with the current USB ports on newer computers. Even the online galleries I deliver will eventually change.
One of the best ways to make your memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents' wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on a coffee table.

The Signature Wedding
After I deliver your gallery, we'll work together to order prints and design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions).
With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a $2000 non-refundable retainer. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let us know and we’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 30 days before the wedding.

Galleries typically include anywhere between 800 and 1000 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can print anywhere. You and your wedding vendors are also welcome to share your wedding photos on Social Media!

I typically add travel fees on to any wedding outside of a 60 mile radius of the DMV unless travel is included in the wedding collection you select. Fees vary depending on location so just ask me for more details at anytime!

Within a two weeks of your engagement session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images. Wedding images are delivered 8 weeks after your wedding date!
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy! No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
