Ok, so if you haven’t discovered by now- I love photographing engagements, weddings and now anniversary sessions!  I guess it’s the hopeless romantic in me.  I love seeing couples express their love in their own way in front of my camera.  I love hearing the story of how they met, their first date and then the proposal. Those are the unique parts of every relationship and the female usually has one version while the male has another.

Tim contacted me a few months ago for his wife, Chiantia.  She found me through two other blogs when she was researching photographers.  We met to discuss their ideas for a shoot and also to incorporate some professional head shots for each of them. The Crews will be celebrating 5 years of marriage this year and wanted some updated photos for their new home.

Tim runs a real estate company and Chiantia (pronounced “key-aun-tia”) owns Chiantia Crews Interiors– an interior design company.  What a perfect blend- he’ll help you find a home and she’ll help you design/decorate your rooms!

I have a confession, I have never met a couple that seemed more like one person that the Crews!  They express their love beautifully in their activities and the way they speak to one another.  She confirm many parts of our conversation with “right, babe?” and he would respond in the affirmative. These two love to read and they love the Lord.  I asked what the roll of paper in their home was for and she said it’s for their vision board that they revisit each month.  I’m all about setting goals and having a vision that aligns with God, so this was so awesome to me.

Chiantia had taken a photography course in school and has an appreciation of photography, so I’m always a little nervous but hopeful that I meet my client’s expectations and vision for the shoot.  I received a very nice email after they saw the photos, so I think I succeeded!  At any rate, here are some of my favorite images from their session.

Chiantia designed the rooms in their home so she wanted a few photos to showcase her work.  Their puppy, Shiloh, joined us for a few photos as well!

Here are a few photos of Chiantia in one of the rooms she designed.  This girl is so talented!!  I am already trying to get her to come and give my office a face lift!

Here are a few of Tim’s updated headshots to use for his business.
