One of the recommendations I always make to my brides is to have a wedding planner for their BIG day! While I understand budget concerns with adding a wedding planner, this is the most underrated but worthy vendor on the wedding day, if you have one that can understand and control the logistics of a wedding.  I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing wedding planners in the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia).  The right wedding planner means that I am not doing someone else’s job and can focus on photography because in my experience, when there is no professional planner onsite, I am having to pick up the missing pieces, not because I have to, but because I want my couples to have the most amazing day ever and I can’t stand idly by and watch things fall apart.
