It’s amazing that I haven’t finished my list of goals for 2013 and I have already been fortunate enough to cross one goal off of my list.  I wanted to do a Bridal Show this year and I have one scheduled for August, but when I received a late notification of my ability to participate in the VAWE Network’s Weddings by Wingate Bridal Show, I decided to jump on the opportunity.  I had 2 weeks to prepare with a week of business travel thrown into the mix…Yikes!  Thank God for online shopping!  While I had to make some adjustments because my booth sign wasn’t ready, my frames were too heavy, my backdrop idea didn’t work and I overplanned for my booth (read: I had too much to fit in a small space), I am happy with the outcome.   This isn’t my final vision for a bridal show booth, but with the design assistance of Lacoya Heggie of Miraculous Events, I was able to make an awesome showing!  I also received many compliments on my display so that made me happy!  Yeah!!!  Ultimately, I will have a custom wall display for my photos but the booth will still have this similar vibe as if you are sitting in a living room or my office.
