It seems like my weekends come and go so quickly these days that by Monday I am having to remind myself of what actually happened!  Well, this weekend isn’t quite a blur because it was so amazing!  I was able to blend some girl time within my photography shooting time and I am excited about my upcoming vacation this week!  It’s been a long awaited vacation where I can finally unplug from email, text messages, and all things work! I am excited to take my camera and just shoot for me for once!

At any rate, here is a recap of my weekend:

On Friday, I was able to spend time with some of my closest girlfriends as we bid farewell to Aiysha’s single life!  We’ve been waiting for this wedding for some time and while I was originally going to be her wedding photographer, her date changed and I was already booked so I was happy to put her in the hands of my friend Iris for her wedding day and she did not disappoint!  She was such a gorgeous bride on Saturday as she was a few months ago when she modeled for one of my shoots!

On Saturday, I shot Jarryd and Natalie’s wedding in Northern Virginia and it was amazing! Natalie put a ton of work into her wedding details and I am excited to start sorting through her images! Here is a sneak peek!  That gown!!!!  Gorgeous!

On Sunday, I went over to a friend’s house for a Pampered Chef party and now instead of the consultants doing all of the cooking, they have the guests cook!  WHAT?!?!  So, for those of  you that don’t know me….I love stuff like this!  Now, I don’t know how often I’ll be cooking once I place my product order but I love the feeling of empowerment!  lol!  Great move Pampered Chef!
