Happy rainy Monday from Virginia!

Here’s a quick wrap-up from this weekend in case you were wondering!

– I was actually off from shooting and it feels weird to have weekends to just let my body rest, but I realized I need more of these types of weekends in 2015!

– I went with my friend- Lacoya of Hello Love Events– to Ikea and we were literally in the store until closing! I helped her pick and load about 20 boxes of items she needs for her office update and I’ll be honest, I really have to consider you a friend to spend that much time and energy in Ikea!!

– If you ever go to Bahama Breeze and the server tells you the Bahamian Sunset is a mild drink- don’t believe them!!!! Lacoya and I went there for dinner after our Ikea adventures and let’s just say it’s hard to do business planning after drinking half of that drink! lol

– I also had the opportunity to attend the bridal shower of my sweet friend, Riëtte, and I love how happy she is during the planning stages of her wedding! I also felt chills to see how much her friends and family adore her! Her and I met a few years ago at a photography networking event and have shot several weddings together so it’s exciting to see her as a bride-to-be!

– Keith and Ashley’s Howard University wedding is hitting the blog this week, so I’ll end this post with a sneak peek to hold you over!
