We're diving right in to shooting for this workshop. Attendees are desiring more time with their cameras with me by their side, so that's what we'll do!

Terri Baskin started her photography career photographing weddings almost a decade ago. In that time, she has developed a style of photography that has allowed her to attract her dream clients. Since 2015, Terri has been educating other photographers and creative entrepreneurs through conferences, workshops and one-on-one mentoring.
Terri has been recognized in local and national online and print publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Essence, The Knot, Washingtonian Weddings, Black Bride Magazine, Inside Weddings and the New York Times. Terri has developed a referral-based business and serves up to 25 wedding couples each year.
Adjust Your Focus is a one-day, in-person workshop experience designed to assist wedding photographers with successfully navigating their next wedding with the couple and some of the wedding day partners. It's also designed to be a safe environment that allows each attendee to walk away feeling better equipped for the next wedding.
Yes, I'm ready to take the next steps to elevate my wedding photography experience with this hands-on lighting and shooting event.
I understand this will be a safe learning environment and due to the limited capacity, refunds will not be issued after purchase.
If there is enough demand for an experience for new photographers who want to learn the basics of photography, I am happy to look into this or point you in the right direction with another workshop that is happening.
Will you host a workshop for brand new photographers?
In order to design an experience that will allow each attendee to get the most for their money, I have to limit the number of attendees while still being safe during a Covid-19 environment. The goal is for no one to leave feeling like they haven't received what they came for, which is also why I wanted to allow more time for shooting and less time sitting in the classroom.
crowded shoots are no fun, will this be crowded?
Heck Yes! There is time allotted for Q&A so that each attendee will walk away feeling more confident about their approach to weddings. Please bring your questions, however if you have gear specific questions we will get those answered during the hand-on sections.
will my questions get answered during the workshop?
Absolutely, and actually for this workshop there will be no classroom instruction so that you can have more time to practice and elevate your portfolio in a safe environment. There will be a group call after the workshop to address any lingering questions!
Will i get hands-on experience?
While this isn't considered a Second Shooter Workshop, since there are some geared towards that, this is perfect to help you understand how to best serve the lead photographer as they will need to rely on some of your images when delivering the final gallery to the client.
What if I only want to second shoot weddings?
Ideally attendees should already have some experience navigating a wedding day (i.e. timing, giving direction, on-boarding clients), but it's not required. If you know that you have an interest in weddings or are already photographing weddings we'd love to have you!
Do I HAVE TO HAVE MY OWN WEDDINGS BOOKED?
