Picture this: a beautiful bride, a handsome 6’8″ groom, a quaint bed and breakfast with the Wisteria in full bloom and 12 photographers!  What?

This past weekend I organized and hosted a styled wedding shoot for photographers from all over the state of Virginia and D.C.  Was it a success?  Yes!  Was it a ton of work? Absolutely!  Am I happy that I was able to give photographers a chance to practice shooting in a wedding setting without the pressure of a wedding? Of course!

You get one chance to get it right on the wedding day and that is not the time to practice new techniques, so a styled wedding shoot can give you similar wedding conditions without the pressure of a timeline, family members asking where to go, or missing flower girls!  This is why I organized this event.  So many people have poured into me and my photography career, so I want to be able to do the same for others.  Although many of the photographers have experience, several didn’t know how to arrange a styled shoot with other wedding professionals.  I want to thank the following wedding professionals for their contribution to a success shoot:
