Recently, I really realized that if I write my vision, make it plain, trust God and hustle hard my dreams will come true!!!!! I’ve always heard the saying but this time I put action to those words!
Back in November, I wrote out my 2017 goals. One was to shoot a wedding in PARIS!!!!!! Did I think it would happen? Honestly, no. When a potential wedding client loved my work but chose another photographer, I didn’t understand, but when my friend, mentor, and amazing photographer Elle of Elle Danielle Photography asked if I would travel to the “City of Love” to capture her secret elopement I couldn’t say YES, YES, YES fast enough!!!! When I put two and two together, I realized that the first denial opened a door for an even bigger opportunity y’all!!! My God is amazing!!!
Bucket List: Shoot a Wedding in Paris ✔️✔️✔️✔️😍
While it was an elopement and not a full wedding, the fact that we crossed the pond with a pit stop in Iceland and started prep at 6am the following day, with vows exchanged in front of Notre-Dame de Paris, then traveled to Place du Trocadéro to capture amazing portraits of the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, the golden gates of Petit Palais and then…then..a stop at the Musée du Louvre, the world’s largest museum and it’s amazing pyramid structures, was almost too much to fathom for one wedding….guests or no guests!! Elle and Tyrus did actually have one guest in attendance, a nice Parisian man that stoppes to witness during his morning stroll! While it was overcast and windy, the sights of the city were still magnificant and I am so incredibly honored and humbled that she chose me to come along!!
