I am honored to have met so many awesome people during United. I heard how friendly everyone was but to see it in person is a different story. I will post a recap as soon as I can collect my thoughts. I planned to room alone until someone posted that Spiceytee was coming in from Nigeria and needed a roommate. We were on different schedules for most of the stay but when I found out she had brought over a traditional Nigerian bridal wardrobe and would be doing a shoot I dropped whatever it was that I was doing to participate. As the organizers for the shoot – Kristina and Christina- were helping Spiceytee get ready in our room I did what I could to help, which meant trying to find a youtube video that showed the proper way to wrap her head wrap (called a “Gele”).
