This is officially wedding week for JD and Dalayna!!!  These two love birds are making the trip from their Miami, FL home back to Dalayna’s home state of Virginia to exchange nuptials at the gorgeous Ritz-Carlton in Arlington, VA.  I am excited to see what Dalayna’s best friend, Matron of Honor and wedding planner- Geomyra Lewis has planned for the big day!

For their engagement session, JD and Dalayna traveled to Washington, DC and was able to fit it into their schedule in the midst of wedding planning.  We met bright and early in March at the Lincoln Memorial and while it was cool outside, the weather was perfect!  We were able to capture some images prior to the tour buses arriving and before the National Mall became flooded with visitors.  After we finished at the Lincoln Memorial, we headed over to Howard University for more photos.  JD is a member of Omega Psi Phi and Dalayna is a member of Delta Sigma Theta (my soror!), so they put on their greek paraphernalia and headed to the birthplace of both organizations!
