I love meeting with a wedding couple for engagement pictures prior to their wedding day. It gives us a chance to spend some time taking photos and getting to know more about each other in a relaxed environment. This also give the bride a chance to practice her hair and make-up looks for her big day. For this session, I met Courtney and Angela at the Norfolk Waterside Marina. It was a rainy and dreary day, but we made the most of it! This was a fun shoot because both Angela and Courtney went with the flow of the entire shoot! We started off inside and then moved outside once the weather cleared up a little. I’m excited for their big day in a few months! I had my friend, Lacoya there to assist me and share photo ideas also. Thanks Lacoya! Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day. Enjoy!
[…] Often times I look at a couple and they just look like they belong together. This is the case with Angela and Courtney. They were a referral from a former bride of mine so I had not met them previously until the day of their engagement session. The way that Courtney looks at Angela proves that there is no doubt whatsoever that he truly cares about her. We shot their engagement session at the Norfolk Marina on a foggy and rainy day in February. View those photos here. […]
Beautiful pictures! Congrats to Courtney and Angela! So happy for you.
