When I saw the email come through from Washingtonian Bridal Blog, I checked it as normal, but this time something piqued my interest  which caused me to click on the link right away to check out the list of “23 Washington-Area Wedding Photographers You Should Follow Right Now on Instagram”.  I opened it to see which photographers were listed and if I knew any of them personally.  I love to see names that I know being recognized for doing awesome things so I couldn’t wait until I came home to view the list on my computer.  As I expected, some familiar names were on the list such as Katelyn James, Abby Jiu and Abby Grace!  These ladies are amazing at what they do and I am honored that I’ve had a chance to learn from both Katelyn and Abby Grace on multiple occasions.  As I scrolled thru the names I reached number 9 and saw my name!!! WHAT?!?!?!  I screamed because yes I was that excited!!!!  I wondered how the heck I made the list and my friends that started congratulating me on social media told me I deserved to be on that list!  REALLY?!?!  I am humbled that someone thought enough of me and my work to include me in that number!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!  Just when one of those days hits where I am questioning if it’s all worth it, this happens and confirms that it is SO WORTH IT!  My mind has been blown and now I am determined to improved daily in order to prove myself worthy!
