Funny thing…I thought I was finished shooting weddings for the year, I mean it’s December right? And none were on the books. However, I received a phone call from Chef Tea of Lil Tea’s Specialty Desserts regarding a wedding on 12.12.12. The couple hadn’t secured a photographer so she wanted to know if I was available. I have a full-time career so I knew that a weekday wedding would have a slim chance of working with my schedule, but I told her I would talk to the couple. A few days later, I met with the couple one evening at my public office (read: Starbucks!) to hear about this cool date they selected. I’m all for making your anniversary as easy for the groom to remember as possible…12.12.12, how could he ever forget that?!?! Anyhow, I found out that it was an evening wedding and the couple only needed me for a few hours! Yay! We worked out the details and the rest is history!
