My sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, celebrated our 100th Anniversary on January 13, 2013, which also happens to be my birthday.  During the weekend celebration we had a Founders Day Dinner during which was a time to recognize trailblazers in our community.  I know what a great company GE is, but I didn’t know they had programs to celebrate diversity, one of them being a program called Leadership Delta.  The CEO of GE, Jeffrey lmmelt,  was being recognized during the dinner for being a champion of diversity!  Prior to dinner, the members of Leadership Delta hosted a reception in which I was asked to take photos.  I am so honored that I was invited to be a part of such an amazing event, recognizing an amazing leader along with an amazing group of my sorority sisters.  Here are a few of the photos from the reception:
