When it comes to weddings I have a few favorite shots that I LOVE to capture and are pretty consistent with all of my weddings.  I will add a few posts with these shots in the coming weeks.  However, today I will share a post about ring shots.

Why do I love ring shots?  I love ring shots because typically when a young lady gets engaged she will take a photo of her ring with her point and shoot camera or cell phone.  It rarely does the ring that her hubby-to-be spent his hard earned money on!  So, when I take the couples’ engagement photos and wedding day photos, it’s important to me to capture the true beauty of this ring.  It’s one of the things that truly symbolizes their commitment together so my decision to make it a standard shot only seems natural.  Here are a few rings shots from past weddings/engagements.
