After returning from my trip to Denmark and Sweden, I entered customs as to be expected.  That was uneventful, until I noticed at the end of the line entered a number of military service men and women.  I asked where they were returning from and one soldier said the UAE.  I was surprised they had to wait in the customs line but they were patiently chatting with one another as the line moved closer to the check-in stands.  Once I exited the customs area and grabbed my luggage I exited the area to a group awaiting the soldiers arrival.  I grabbed my camera to get a few shots of the group and a lady approached me to share information about their group.  This group of individuals were a part of “Operation Welcome Home” and were waiting with the family members.  This group ensures there is always someone there to welcome the soldiers back and on this particular day they were able to greet two flights.  I was unable to wait and capture the arrivals due to a delay in the soldiers exiting customs, but here are a few black & white photos of the group.  How amazing is this?
