I have been waiting to share this wedding because it was accepted for a feature on Style Me Pretty’s blog, so I didn’t want to spoil the pretty!  I met Otis and Alexis late last year when they were in town making arrangements for their wedding.  I loved how Alexis’ attention to detail and Otis’s calm demeanor complimented each other! This is one of the reasons I get excited when both the bride and groom show up for the wedding photography consultation.  While Alexis asked questions and shared her vision of the wedding, Otis nodded in agreement.  When Alexis explained her ideas for the wedding I was excited that she was focused on the entire day as she was going for a look and feel versus a theme.  When I walked into their venue on their wedding day I was in awe of how everything was coming to life!  This intimate wedding at the D.C. Carnegie Library had touches of class and elegance all over it and their closest friends and family were there to wish them well in style!  I can’t even do this write-up any justice because the photos speak for themselves!  Alexis and Otis I wish you two the very best life together and hope that our paths cross more frequently when you settle in D.C.  Thanks to Andre for second shooting with me!
