Jose Luis and Sheilla met at Buffalo Billiards, a bar in Washington, DC. They were both with friends when Jose Luis spotted Sheilla playing pool. From their first introduction until the time that Jose Luis proposed, they spent every opportunity they had together. 

The proposal: Well fast forward a couple years…Sheilla was about 25 weeks pregnant and it was the day they were going to the doctor to see if they were having a boy or girl. Jose Luis wakes Sheilla up at 6am (yikes!!!) and surprises her with breakfast in bed. Sheilla simply thought that he was super excited about this day and wanted to make her feel special. Well that’s when he started to give a speech on their future and how excited he was about their life and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with her (cue tears!). We all know what happens next, right?  Jose Luis got down on one knee and proposed with the most gorgeous ring. Sheilla cried, as any expectant mother would, they finished breakfast and got dressed to leave.

On their wedding day, Sheilla and her cast of closest friends prepped for the day in her suite near the Recency at Dominion Valley, while Jose Luis and his groomsmen hung out and played pool.

Sheilla’s entrance into the ceremony was nothing short of fabulous.  Coming down a grassy hill to meet her groom was breath-taking and the emotion could be felt by all in attendance!

I have to say, the amount of time Sheilla and Jose Luis gave me for portraits was amazing!!!  Her photography was important to her so when they opted no to do a first look, she made up for it on the back end. They ended the evening with a sparkler send off with their bridal party and I left their wedding fulfilled and such a happy camper!!! Congratulations Sheilla and Jose Luis and continued blessings to you and your family!
