I met Robert and Leatah last year and I was honored they selected me to be their engagement and wedding photographer.  We shot their engagement session on a cold and windy day at the National Harbor.  We decided to use that location because they liked the area and because they met in Delaware, they didn’t really have a favorite local place to take pictures.  During their session I asked more questions about how they met.  We initially discussed their meeting during our consultation meeting but not in great detail.  So when they told me their first date was at TGI Friday’s and when Leatah followed a few minutes later with Friday’s being the location of the proposal, I asked “why didn’t we take your pictures at Friday’s?”  They said, they never thought about it.  So fast forward to warmer weather, we decided to meet at Friday’s for a few more engagement photos and a meeting about the wedding.  Unbeknownst to me, the Friday’s we met at was the exact location where Robert popped the question!  The both remember the exact table. Well, Leatah showed me the exact table and Robert said “it’s the one over there” in a comedic and ambiguous gesture!  I’m looking forward to shooting their wedding this August!
