Their love began 5 years ago when Catra’s mom noticed Vernon and work and thought he would be a great catch for her daughter! Well as fate would have it, the two met and started to get to know one another. It’s simply amazing when two lives become one and it’s just as beautiful when there are friends or family that want the best for their loved ones enough to pay attention to the people around them.
Initially when I met Catra and Vernon, I would have described them as a laid back couple that knew what they were looking for in a wedding photographer. Well, I was only half right, they knew what they wanted but they are tons of fun and energy in front of the camera! I instantly fell in love when they showed up for their engagement session ready to love on one another and make memories! Their love is one that their children will be able to look at years from now and know it was a genuine one and I feel truly honored when I attract couples that want the best for the other.
Their wedding fell on the first Saturday of 2015 and was a dreary kind of morning, but that didn’t stop the smiles and laughter as I entered the bridal suite partly because Vernon and Catra had gotten married a few days prior on January 1st, which marked one year from the date of their engagement!!! In the bridal suite, Catra seemingly transformed from a girl in a white robe into something that can only be described as a fierce bride! The entire bridal party was made up of a group of the most attractive and fun friends that wanted the best for the couple.
Vernon and Catra, congratulations again and I wish you a lifetime of wedded bliss!!
