Ahhhh, the weather is great and the trees are beautiful!  I can really appreciate the crisp Fall mornings these days!!!  Walking my dog has been quite interesting but we are getting it done….quickly!

This was a pretty busy weekend as I had my brother and his family in town, I shot Riette and Chris’s engagement photos and I attended the annual Step Out Diabetes Walk.  Here is a quick breakdown of the weekend:

– The annual Step Out Walk to stop Diabetes happened around the country and my company is one of the national sponsors.  I attended the walk in Richmond, VA and this year’s location was at the Redskins Training Field.  This facility is only a couple of years old but it’s spectacular to say the least.  I see why so many locals attend the practices during the summer to check out the squad.  I on the other hand was thinking about how I could meet one of these guys and shoot their wedding one day!

– After the walk I stopped by Zoe’s Kitchen for lunch.  They just built one in Richmond so I lucked up and caught them on their third day of being open!  Everyone was so nice and the food was great as always, so I hope they can maintain this level of service!  To be honest, that’s why I eat to Chick Fil A so often, because of the wonderful service that I receive at any location……well, that and the Chick Fil A sauce that I get with EVERY meal!

– Riette and Chris’s engagement session was fun!  They went back to the spot of their first kiss and where they were engaged and we set up a picnic style engagement session, along with doing portraits on the street where Chris used to live.  I love when couples make their session sentimental!  As I had them kiss outside of the Starbucks a couple walked by and said “They are so cute, wait that’s Chris and Riette!!!”…umm awkward!  The couple was from their bible study group!  LOL
