Happy Monday!  We are one week closer to Christmas and I still have no put up one piece of decoration.  I went to Target on Saturday night to buy a wreath only to remember that I bought one last year and just needed to pull it out of storage.  Nevertheless, I have yet to pull said wreath out of its storage bin and I’, slowly talking myself out of doing it just like I am trying to decide if I am going to put up my tree.  I think the amount of time that I spend traveling and the fact that all of my parties and get-togethers this year are at other homes and venues makes me contemplate the pre and post-Christmas work! lol  At any rate, here’s a recap of this weekends activities:

– I did a High School senior session for one of the funniest and liveliest seniors that I’ve met in a long time! She gave me all kinds of top model fierceness, so it’s only right that she gets her own day on the blog.  Photos coming soon!

– The weather this time of year is so crazy unpredictable!  Even when I follow the forecast closely to determine whether or not I should cancel a session, it’s still never a sure thing.  This weekend, I decided to keep my sessions on the books and I’m so glad that I did.  On Saturday the forecast was 100% rain and it was a beautiful morning.  As I walked Bentley on Saturday morning I thought about how nice it would have been to be shooting a sunrise session.  It started raining on Saturday afternoon, so I had an alternate plan in place for the rain and luckily the weather broke for a few minutes for me to get the outdoor portraits that I wanted.

– Sunday’s engagement session was a fun one! I love when my clients bring their own style and their ideas!  Catra and Vernon was too cute and so much fun to work with!  I’m glad that the cold and windy day didn’t interrupt their session plans since their wedding is next month!!! More of their session will be hitting the blog this week!  In the meantime, here is one of my faves:
