I am amazed at the lives I’ve come in contact with since I began shooting professionally.  I’ve meet some awesome clients, photographers and wedding professionals.  When someone contacts me that’s not a referral from another client, I am always curious as to how they found me.  This holds true with one of the nicest couples that I have met recently- Keith and Sarina.  Sarina found me during a Google search of photographers in the D.C. area….yay for SEO!

Sarina contacted me the same week that her and Keith were going to be traveling to the D.C. area for a wedding and she mentioned it being her and Keith’s anniversary weekend and she was interested in having some photos taken.  She didn’t think I would have any availability, but as luck would have it I did!  She told me the ideas she had and since it was their first time touring D.C. having the monuments in the photos was important in order to establish a location. Sarina is a photographer in Tampa, FL.  I had to laugh when I gave them the weekend temperatures of 40 degrees and she said they would be freezing because I remember the days of living in California and traveling back east and freezing while others said it was mild.  During our session they were indeed cold as the temperature only reached a high of 37 degrees and it was windy oh and Keith decided not to wear his coat!  lol  He decided he didn’t want to bother with putting it on and taking it off during the shoot but he later regretted that decision as his face and hands went numb!

Keith and Sarina made entering their 6th year of marriage seem so fun and she shared a few words of wisdom with me that were valuable.  Keith and Sarina, I am so thankful that you choose me to document your celebration of love as you enter year 6 of happily ever after and I wish you many, many more years of wedded bliss!!!  Here are a few of my favorites from their day:
