When I entered the Maryland Starbucks, I was met with the sweetest spirit, and outgoing gent and the more adorable little girl!  I don’t typically prefer to meet clients in Starbucks but in this case, that was the best mid-point for all of us!  I introduced myself and immediately wanted to learn more about this gorgeous couple!

As Megan put it “Erik and I have been together for a LONNNNGGG time! We’ve been engaged for 5 years and together for 7. So our big day has been a long time coming for everyone!”

How they met: Megan’s story was “Erik and I actually met on a few occasions through a mutual friend before we started dating” and Erik’s story was “she stole me from a friend of mine!” No matter who has the more accurate memory, these two plan to vow a lifetime together next Fall!

The Proposal:  Erik proposed to Megan on Mother’s Day 2010, when she was expecting their daughter. He kept telling her how she needed the right jewelry for church that morning, and after approaching Megan several times with pieces of my “cheap” costume jewelry, he finally appeared with an engagement ring!!! Megan’s remembers crying more of the day!

While Erik’s personality is outgoing and lively.  Megan is sweet and soft-spoken and together they work!  I’m excited to introduce you to another one of my 2016 couples and I am excited to tell their love story!  In the meantime, here are a few of my faves from their Brookside Garden engagement session!
