Dear Monday,
We’ve made it through another Thanksgiving holiday (for those of us that celebrate) and I’m reminded of how fast time flys these days. It’s great to disconnect for a few days and spend time with family and really love on the people that want the best. However, I realize that some people also struggle during these times and are reminded of people that are no longer with them. When I reflect on this I’m reminded to never take life too seriously and to not take any one for granted. So if you are reading this, thank you! I am honored that you are spending a few minutes with me!Recently, I’ve found myself receiving referrals outside of Weddings. Now, while I’m not a children’s photographer (and I’m very transparent about that) I have a few families that have been along for the ride since the beginning that I will take photos of when time permits. I honestly wish I had the gift of photographing children but my love and passion is for couples in love and I find that’s where I see my personal best! LOL
So, the new thing that I ask when photographing the limited number of families is taking time for just the parents. Photos are the perfect reminder of love and by allowing the mom and dad a few moments to have fun in front of the camera alone, they have that reminder for atleast a year after and I love that!
Here are a few recent sessions. Have a great week!
