Gorgeous and perfectly landscaped grounds in the heart of Washington, DC better known as Meridian Hill Park.  The most gorgeous models that displayed a chemistry so natural that it’s amazing they’re not married in real life and flowers that made my heart smile are the best ways that I can describe the styled shoot portion of the Ellements workshop that I attended last July.  More from this shoot will be featured online later this Fall, but in the meantime I wanted to share some of my favorite images captured with a few drops of rain attempting to make an appearance.  The first part of the day was all classroom style learning with the shoot happening that after noon.  We rounded off the evening with dinner at Founding Farmers- my new favorite spot!

Workshops are the best time for me to invest in my education and the styled shoots are an added bonus.  This shoot allowed me to stretch my shooting style and try some new things while working around the other attendees.  I am in love with how this dream team of wedding professionals made this shoot come to life.
