Steven and Lory had to be one of the cutest and nicest couples that I’ve met in a long time! I mean, I have so many nice clients and I think that’s the benefit of working with couples that refer me to their friends and I never take that for granted. However, these two braved the a frigid Saturday morning during the peak bloom of Cherry Blossom season in order to take their engagement session. Oh and did I mention that they were up before dawn preparing to meet me in order to make it happen?!? They didn’t complain and while they probably had every right to because they made the trip into DC from the Baltimore area oh and they didn’t have their coats because it was 70 degrees the day or two before their session and in the 30s on the morning of their session, these two were troopers! These Haitian natives met down there but have since located to the DMV where they work! Steven and Lory are planning their version of a destination wedding by heading to Miami to exchange their nuptials and while planning a long distance wedding can present its own set of challenges, these two are putting in the work to make it work!
Steven and Lory booked their Cherry Blossom engagement session early in the year and were so amazingly flexible as peak bloom bounced from one week to the next and honestly that’s what it may take to make a session happen during this time! It was a fun (and chilly) morning, but for clients like these two, it was more than worth it! Steven and Lory, I wish you the best as you continue to plan for your 2017 wedding and I know that it will be amazing! Congratulations!!!
