He’s her “Let’s Go Crazy” and she’s his “P.Y.T.” and together they make the sweetest duo!

Darrell and Pattie actually shared the same 4th grade class, but they did not realize until after they started dating. So technicially that class was their first official meeting, but their memory of meeting later in life was at his senior prom where Pattie attended with her best friend. After college, the couple reconnected at a graduation party and have been together ever since!

Darrell proposed this past July 4th on a boat cruise in Georgetown (awwwwww) and now they are really excited about all things related to planning their 2016 wedding. When I asked what they were most looking forward to for the wedding, Pattie said “I think we are both most looking toward having all our friends and family together for a celebration”.

Pattie and Darrell met me at Meridian Hill Park in Washington,DC for a sunrise engagement session and since Pattie wakes up before dawn to leave for work, she was already prepared for the early start time!

Darrell is a DJ (DJ Treble) so their second local was a hidden gem- a mural dedicated to all things D.C. including a tribute to the Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown.
