Sometimes clients come into my life through referrals and sometimes they find me by way of a google search or social media.  I am so thankful that these mediums exist because they allow me to meet so many new couples and hear so many different love stories!!!  Kerby and Solange found me by way of Instagram!

I am grateful to be able to call Solange and Kerby my clients this year.  See, I was already booked on the wedding date they inquired about but they had some flexibility and was able to find a date that worked for all of the wedding professionals they wanted to work with!  I am humbled that I was one of those professionals!

These two are so cute and they have the sweetest chemistry!  I was able to joke with Kerby during the session and although this was our first meeting, it felt like I’d known them for years!

Kerby and Solange’s engagement session was during that never ending rain fall a few months ago and we chanced it and kept their engagement session as scheduled.  While we had a small break from the rain during their session, there was a period where we had to pop into the National Gallery of Art until the rain calmed down.  We were able to have a little fun here, so it was so worth it!

Kerby and Solange’s families have known each other for as long as they can remember and they have always been in each others’ lives without realizing one day they would fall in love and make a life long commitment to one another!  Kerby proposed last year the day before Solange’s birthday and this August they will say their “I Dos” in Maryland!  I am excited to have been able to add them to my limited client roster and think they round out the group of 2016 couples just perfectly!  Enjoy some of my faves from their session.
