Looking back they realized they’ve known each other since they were fifteen but after school, Shelby went to college and Ricco went into the military (Army).  Life sent them in different directions for many years and even though they kept in touch by writing letters, that came to an end.  It wasn’t until Ricco started his Facebook account and looked Shelby up that they became reacquainted.  They began dating and had decided that the next natural step would be to get married.  Ricco and Shelby had an intimate ceremony on 12.12.12.  Ricco did the proper thing by asking Shelby’s dad for permission to marry his daughter and he said “yes”, but he wanted to attend the wedding.  Unfortunately, the date they wanted was in the middle of the week and they decided to move forward with the plans.  When Shelby’s dad came to visit a few days later they shared the news.  He was still happy for them.  Shelby and Ricco are preparing to celebrate one year of marriage next month and decided this photo session would be a good idea since they hadn’t taken photos since their engagement announcement.
