On this final Monday of 2013, I wanted to share what I was up to this past weekend.  So here’s the first of many Weekend Wrap-Ups to come:

– I traveled back to Virginia from spending Christmas with my family in North Carolina.  The week went by so fast, but I am thankful that we were able to get together once again and spend time together.  I even practiced cell phone selfies and crazy faces with my youngest niece!  Please excuse the poor quality iphone photo.

– I also wrapped up my last wedding of 2013!  Congratulations Raheem and Kyra!  Your intimate Old Town Alexandria wedding was absolutely beautiful!  Their night ended with an outdoor shot on King Street, which we didn’t think would be possible because it had rained heavily all day long.  Luckily Kyra remained in good spirits and did not let it spoil her day.  The skies opened up and the sun made a brief appearance right before their First Look!

Thank you 2013 for being so kind to me!  The year seemed to pass so quickly but I am grateful for God keeping me and my family in great health, allowing me to experience success with a great job, new photography clients, new and sustained friendships, and increased relationships in the photography community!  Cheers to 2014!
