Hello 1st Monday in 2015, it’s so great to see you!  You know, I’d planned to do a 2014 wrap-up post with all of my favorite sessions from the year, but time got away from me…that, and I had so many favorite moments from this past year that it would create the longest post ever, so let’s just say that blog post probably won’t happen and I’m totally okay with it.

Well, my first Saturday (since everyone likes to point out the first and last of everything!) of 2015 was spent at Vernon and Catra’s wedding and I have to say that it was a fun time in deed! Here’s a quick recap of my weekend:

– Vernon and Catra were married at the Hyatt House in the Short Pump area of Richmond, Va in a beautiful and intimate ceremony.  They opted for a first look (pictured below) during the the early sunset time and the drizzling rain didn’t take away from this beautiful moment at all!  More highlights from their wedding will be hitting the blog soon!

– Sunday (the first Sunday of the year) was a great one for my church family as we welcomed 4 new families to our congregation!

– While driving home from the Godwin wedding, it struck me, there are some things in my business that I want to change and with it being a new year, I am about to take the steps to do them.  I think it will be a win-win for me and my clients while still allowing me to provide great service and restore some normalcy in my life.  I am meeting with a brand consultant at the end of the month on how to best implement these changes, so I will be excited to share those soon!
